In a faraway timberland
Rested an old vintage car
One breezy and quiet night
Running through the fields
A stray dog finds his shelter
An asylum for the loner
Dog rested in the car since then
He woke up early every morning
As the Sun winked via tall trees
Ripping the seat into a chair
He lolled there from dawn to dark
Ran in the forest for food
And felt blessed eating some trash
Realizing the alikeness they shared
Seasons flew away with the birds
And the air is freezing now
Watching a snowflake on the wiper
He hopped up turning amazed
And stared the snow from front glass
Memories of loved one flashed
Those skiing days of the couplet
Remembers the kiss on the nose
And the buckled gift of rose
The last intimate rendezvous
Made him too restless to meet her
Instantly at the sight of daybreak
He escaped through wheat fields
As love accelerated his speed
Clearing grains from his eyes
Stumbled upon a cave like rock
And reminded him of his love
Who went to God in similar way
Now hides somewhere in the sky
Sending him love in every cloud
And crying rains for not being there
