Now & then !!

It was the first breath

Birth starts the journey

Not knowing the start time

Destination also was unknown

It was the first word

No hints of recollection

Was it Mom or Dad?

Or did I just wave a "Hi"

It was the first smile

With bunny like teeth

Purely a smirk it was

Sarcasm was faraway

It was the first yawn

Nose shrinks to tiny ball

Sleep was forced on

Now, stress works wonders

It was the first hug

Learnt the emotion of love

Unaware of its different faces

Simple feelings turned complex

It was the first tear

Peaceful as it could be

Now there is some immunity

A stage between chaos and calm

It was the first life

Starting with pure innocence

Pushed into the world of lust

Now, Breathing through this dust

Misunderstood Destiny

Destiny,

A pre-decided

Maze.

Nothing alters

Not even the

Result, nor

Our control

To lead it, and

Then follow it.

Too many faces

We see,

Voices we hear

And attract them

Mutually

In each others life

Something hits

And we connect

Instantly.

And then we wonder

Was this written

Or known before

To our heart.

Taking step ahead

Emotionally

Bond grows strong

Unknowingly.

Hardships,

An alter ego

Of every relationship

Make an entry

Unfortunately.

And we are amazed

Again

Is it still written?

This future.

Every moment

People & things

That we encounter

Was it a matter of luck

Or we enter this world

With a list

Or an itinerary

Or with every piece

Of this jigsaw of life.

That will complete

At our ultimate

Departure.

Questions are plenty

Each having a

Hopefully convincing

Answer.

But the one question

That will remain

Unanswered forever is,

Who answers us

And our queries

That we are born with

Or are given to us

To solve on our own.

We call it Destiny,

Isn't it?

The one that will

And the only one

That will lead

And answer all of us

Or there is a catch

A twist in the question

Whose destiny is a

Maze in itself

Since its inception.

So we are back

To point zero

Where we assume

Or some don't

That our questions

At least some of them

Will stay as they are

Forever unsolved.

And that our life is

Simply an impromptu ride

Given to us at birth

As a gift

Where we meet

People we love

Care, share and miss.

Ultimately we must

Thank the almighty

For gifting their presence

In our heart.

Hence,

Live life everyday

Every second

For every new minute

Is a new experience

For your life has

Many unrevealed

And fascinating surprises

Awaiting.
